CLUBS AND GROUPS
Road Riding. Ride with the Shasta Wheelmen. The Shasta Wheelmen have scheduled rides on weekdays and most weekends. Local members also participate in most Centuries and Gran Fondos in the western US.
Mountain Biking. Learn the fabulous local trails in the Redding area with our local Redding Trail Alliance – The best place to learn about our trails, meet fellow mountain bikers and get started.
Burney-Fall River Bicycle Association. Join cyclists in the beautiful Fall River Valley for local bicycle events, road and mountain bike rides. Contact: email@example.com
Running. SWEAT sponsors marathons and running events throughout the North State. Check their calendar for events happening in the area, nearly every week of the year.
Outdoor Activities. We Ski II – Northern California’s Outdoor Club. Groups rides and hikes throughout the region for people of all ages and abilities.

RACES, TRAILS AND RIDES
Trail Maps. Healthy Shasta has a comprehensive set of trail maps available on their site. A number of other resources are made available there.
Shasta Lemurian Classic. This mountain bike race is renowned for its epic loop, huge climbs and long, technical descents. Brought to you by Owens Healthcare. Founded in 1987. Last Saturday in April.
The Chico Wildflower Century. Regularly listed in Bicycling magazine as a Top Ten Century. It was first offered as an organized event in 1981. Last Sunday in April.
The Art of Survival Century. A century ride in beautiful north eastern California and southern Oregon. Rest stops combine excellent food and beverages with educational components, unique Ranger/Historian led talks. May. Tulelake, CA.
Humbug Hurry-Up Race. Mountain bike races in Yreka – Kids Race, 7, 15, and 24 mile courses. Overnight Camping available. Last Saturday in June.
Castle Crags Century. 4 ride options – one is a spectacular 97 miles with 7800 feet climbing! Mid June.
Fall River Century. In the beautiful northeastern California valley with views of Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen. Third week in July.
Siskiyou Century. Three scenic rural routes, plenty of good food, fully supported. September.
Biketoberfest. City-wide event celebrating all things bicycle. Hosted by the McCloud Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy a supported ride on the Great Rail Trail, or a 30 or 15 mile road ride. Fourth Saturday in September.
Amgen Tour of California. The largest cycling event in America, a Tour de France-style cycling road race.
