City Trails are making a difference in Redding today.
Boosting community benefits and economic development. Presentations and conversations with City and Regional leaders who designed and developed projects.
City Trails made a big difference in Indianapolis.
We continue to be inspired by their story. Hear the story and be inspired as we are – from the Director of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. How the city infrastructure was designed and built, and the difference it has made to people and businesses in the community.
Join us as we reflect, learn and celebrate together.
In Redding: A connected and comfortable 5-mile City Trail Downtown Loop. A ten-year collaborative effort. Amenities: Bikeshare, Bike Depot, Bike Parking station. And more City Trails now connecting into other neighborhoods.

In Indianapolis: 10 miles of trail connects 6 cultural districts. Sidewalk-level trail for comfortable, convenient walking and biking. Amenities: bikeshare, art, sculpture, historical items, trees and flowers. Property value increase of $1 Billion – one block of the Trail in first years after completion.
Over and over I’ve been asked to give presentations in other locations, in other cities about Redding City Trails and the many amenities, and the economic development this supports. And now it’s time … we can invite people here to Redding! Feels really great. Let’s reflect, share and celebrate.
– Anne Wallach Thomas, Executive Director Shasta Living Streets
