May 5, 2013. Give Me Wings Super Century. 127 miles of beautiful unknown mountain roads. Soar near Redding and Lassen National Forest with over 12,000 ft of climbing. Brought to you by the Shasta Wheelman.

May 8th, 2013. Bike to School Day. Walk or ride with your kids to school! Talk with other parents and your school leaders and get a group together to host a “riding school bus“. Many local events and activities sponsored by Safe Routes to School, Healthy Shasta.
May 15th. Ride of Silence. World-wide event to honor those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. 7pm. Meet at the Sundail Bridge for a 10 mile slow ride. Hosted by the Shasta Wheelman.
Redding Rodeo Parade. We ride too! Dress-up as a cowboy or in your favorite biking outfit and join others on their bicycles as we ride in the Redding Rodeo Parade. Hosted by the Shasta Wheelman and Shasta Living Streets.
May 17, 2013. Pancake Breakfast Redding Rodeo. Free pancakes and bicycle parking for people who ride their bikes to the breakfast! Sponsored by the Shasta Wheelman.
May 18th, 2013. Anderson River Park Century. Ride starts at Anderson River Park and includes gradual climbs in the surrounding hills and beautiful scenery along the Sacramento river. Sponsored by the Enterprise and Anderson Lions Clubs.

May. Amgen Tour of California. The largest cycling event in America, a Tour de France-style cycling road race. No, they have not held a stage here – not yet, but we know they will be riding the fantastic roads in the North State sometime in coming years.

June 22, 2013. Castle Crags Century. 4 ride options – one is a spectacular 97 miles with 7800 feet climbing! The family ride begins in the Mount Shasta City Park and goes out to Edgewood, around Hoy Road and back through Weed.
July 20, 2013. Fall River Century. In the beautiful northeastern California valley with views of Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen.
August 4, 2013. The Mt. Shasta Summit Century. “The prettiest, hardest century ride in the West. Brought to you by the Mountain Wheelers.
September 7, 2013. Siskiyou Century. Three scenic rural routes, plenty of good food, fully supported.
