April 25, 2015. Shasta Lemurian Classic. This mountain bike race is renowned for its epic loop, huge climbs and long, technical descents. Brought to you by Redding Mountain Biking. Founded in 1987.
April 25 & 26, 2015. Chico Wildflower Century has grown steadily over the years. About 3,000 riders take to the hills (Wildcat 125 or 100, and Wildflower 100 or 65), about 900 ride the Flatflowers (60, 30 or 12 mile) and over 200 young cyclists ride the Childflower 12 on the bike path to participate in the Butte Bike Coalition Bike Skills Rodeo.

Saturday May 9. Shasta Dam-Bridge Ride! On the Sacramento River Trail, 32 mile ($100 + contribution) and 10 mile ($20). A fundraising event to benefit a scholarship fund for Enterprise High School Seniors.
Mid-May. Lassen National Park Vehicle Free Weekend Enjoy walking, running, or biking on the 30-mile park highway during a vehicle free weekend before it opens to through traffic for the summer season. Read the handout to learn more about the vehicle free weekend.

September 13, 2015. Chico Velo Challenge Fondo enables access for ALL athletes including the visually impaired, hand-cyclists and wheelchair users. A Fondo is a cross between a Century ride and a bike race. 100, 65, 50 mile routes offer riders mass-start, timed events, traveling a tough hilly course on mostly lightly-traveled back-roads, with just a few city intersections. The Piccolo 30 is a more leisurely flat ride through the orchards and farms, and there will be 3 and 10 mile fun ride!
September 19 & 20, 2015. Unknown Coast Weekend Join Chico Velo for a fun-filled weekend touring the quiet coastal towns of Ferndale, Honeydew, and Petrolia for two extremely hilly, but scenic days – 65 miles on Saturday and 35 miles on Sunday.
